When the trend of bug-eyed models and the girls called ‘the aliens’ started to fade away there was one eye-cathing Belarussian that set foot upon that ever-so-watched Prada runway. It was 14 year-old Tanya Dziahileva that caught all the eyes at that S/S 06 show. Her wide lips, big ears, huge blue eyes and small nose were food for discussion immediatly. Some were instantly taken by her incredible angelic features and saw a great promise for the future.

The young blonde had all the right bookings thrown into her lap right from the get-go. She appeared in the Spring-Summer 2006 ad campaigns for Yves Saint Laurent and Hugo by Hugo Boss. Plus, the Summer of ’06 landed her two Vogue Russia covers. Not bad for such a young girl, no?

Every major magazine followed and throughout the past years she has appeared in all of the blue chip publications you can think of. From Numéro to V Magazine and from Vogue Paris to US W. More ads came, like Lanvin and Jean-Paul Gaultier. Soon she was known as the bubbly and energetic girl that cheers up everyone backstage and is so fun to work with.

As she grew older, Tanya kept on developing into the awesome amazon she is today. Every season she walks some of the most runwayshows of all catwalking models. And there is one Italian show that keeps on showing her amazing walk and sensual looks the best: the Versace show. While wowing the crowd with her long hair, it is here where she shows that she keeps on developing from a cute young girl into a sexy powerwalker.
